Whenever i scanned my computer Mcafee would detect some unwanted cookies that would be removed. Recently it is no longer detecting anything...what has happened??

You probably have a clean bill of health. I would download a free program called ccleaner (crap cleaner) it will delete pesky files picked up from the internet that slow down your computer and fix broken registry files. It will also empty your recycle bin. To find the file just do a search on ''ccleaner'' its free so no harm in getting it.
