Which is better: AOL Safety & Security or Trend Micro PC-Cillin Internet Security?

On a Windows XP Home computer. AOL SSC is free, but PC-Cillin appears to catch more stuff (but that may just be appearences.)

Which is better: AOL Safety %26 Security or Trend Micro PC-Cillin Internet Security?internet security 2006

I do not have any problems with using AOL safety and Security Center. Their antivirus is rated very good. I would probably opt only for their virus and spyware protection.

You should install the following no matter which one you use

--------------------------------------...

Windows Defender (full time spyware protection)

--------------------------------------...

Install the following five programs and run weekly or at least monthly. You need all five. They are not a substitute for full time spyware and virus protection.

Ad-Aware SE Personal (update + full scan)

Spybot Search %26 Destroy (update + immunize + scan)

Do not enable Tea Timer and SDHelper

After installation: update + scan + immunize

SpywareBlaster: Update then open and click 鈥渆nable all protection鈥?

SUPERAntiSpyware free version: (update + scan)
